Kenneth Edward Holloway, 73, of 19103 Beacon Lane, Hagerstown MD, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 13, 2010, in Winter Haven, FL.

Born Wednesday, July 29, 1936, in Kyle, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Henry Holloway and the late Mary Lou (Harris) Holloway.

He was a 1954 graduate at Smithsburg High School. He served in the U. S. Army. He retired from the State of Maryland in 1998. He was a member of Community Church of God in Lake Placid, FL and attended Otterbein Ministries in Waynesboro, PA.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Wilma M. Schildt Holloway, two daughters, Shelby Fiem and husband, Jon of Mt. Airy, MD, and Barbie Harshman and husband, Rick of Smithsburg, MD; one son, Donald Holloway and wife, Shawn Steele of Greencastle, PA; grandchildren, Brooke Holloway, Nicholas Fiem, Breanna Holloway and Brennan Holloway; one sister, Shelby Scott of Vancouver, WA; two brothers, David Holloway of Lake Placid, FL, and Steve Holloway of Yucca Valley, CA.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Reid and James Holloway.

Services will be held Friday, February 19, 2010, at 11:00 AM, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD with Pastor John Hoffman officiating.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, February 18.

Interment will be private.
