 Robert Leonnard Condon, 89, of  Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at Ravenwood Lutheran Village.

 
Born Thursday, October 20, 1927 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late George Elvin Condon and the late Pauline Virginia (Tappy) Condon. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Lee Condon in 2004.
 
He graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1944 and Immediately entered the U.S. Navy serving  during World War II and later honorably discharged in 1948. He was employed as a Technical Illustrator for numerous companies until his retirement. He was a member of Washington Square United Methodist Church, Alsatia Club, B.P.O. Elks Lodge 378, Eagles Club, Inc of Waynesboro and the Funkstown American Legion Post 211
 
He is survived by his two daughters, Carol L. Pierce and husband Jim of Williamsport, MD and Cathy L. Condon of Gaithersburg, MD; grandson, Scott A. Pierce of Germantown, MD; two great-grandsons, Luke A. Pierce and Mark D. Pierce.
 
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Helen V. Snodderley and brother, Thomas E. Condon.
 
Graveside services will be held Friday, February 3, 2017, at 2:30 pm, at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 West Washington Street Hagerstown, MD, with the Rev. Jerry L. Lowans officiating.
 
There will be no viewing or visitation
 
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD
